So, you know that saying about the cobbler’s shoes? 100% true. When I have a free afternoon at home, I often have the best intentions of painting our window seat or looking for pillows for the playroom, but instead…I work. This is funny because often the work I’m doing for the shop is really similar to what I hope to do at home, but instead G&P wins most of the time.
So it is with much trepidation that I share our Early Spring Lookbook with you…as it is in my own home! Cue the big eyed emoji. My house got an extra boost when we brought in some of our favorite springs pillows, planters, towels and dishes and styled them out in the way we all hope our homes look daily :). I hope you enjoy!
Spring is a great time to brighten up your pillow situation. Our newest John Robshaw shipment was full of teals and greens, two colors we haven’t had much of at G&P, so they feel extra fresh and springy. They look great with our pale teal stripes from Injiri.
Spring is fickle for sure, so we love these 100% cotton Zestt throws for those evenings when it’s rainy and/or reverting back to winter.
We’re super excited about our tabletop lineup for spring, which will include a return of everyone’s favorite dinnerware from Sheldon Ceramics. I use the white at home everyday and they’ve held up great, even with daily dishwasher cleans and occasional use by my 4-year old. We are excited to also be stocking them in charcoal gray later this spring.
We paired these with our Era Ceramics Everyday Bowls (great if you’re into the “bowl” trend – rice bowls, smoothie bowls, buddha bowls all fit perfect) and our beloved Veak Ceramics mugs.
Another great way to bring spring into the kitchen is with some new shiny, green plants. We’ve used our Modernica black planters with wood stands here; they are also available in white.
One of the sunniest spots in my house is this kitchen window, so we added a little seat there and stuffed it with cozy pillows and a hanging planter to fill with a sun-loving, drapey plant. Local KC artist Sarah Veak makes these hanging planters that we adore! They are reasonably priced and available in 3 other shades as well.

In the bath, I could not be more excited about these new Morihata hand towels and wash cloths made in Japan. They are neutral, so they’ll go anywhere, but have enough texture to keep things really interesting. And they’re soft!

Our newest Uashmama washable paper bags have leather handles and are great for storing towels, toys, plants and would definitely make an adorable (reusable!) Easter basket.
