On this Ethical Edit post, we’re featuring one of our favorite local interior designer’s Sarah Weltner Chaffee! She has done so many great projects around the Kansas City and we can’t get enough of her Instagram feed.
A little bit of information about each of Sarah’s picks:
Her first choice is one of our Herron Co. sunset throws. Each one of these throws are hand woven in Chicago with cotton from a small Virginian fiber farm.
Next on Sarah’s list is Terrafirma Ceramics. These are one of our personal favorites too. Handmade in NYC, this ceramics line is just as functional as it is beautiful. Each piece is signed by it’s maker and on top of that each piece is dishwasher safe!
Sarah’s next pick is our Uashmama paper bags. These clever washable paper bags are made in Tuscany. They come in a variety of colors and sizes and are the perfect home for house plants.
Next up we have one of our dining chairs from Mexa. These are handmade in Mexico by skilled artisans. The dining chairs are brass wrapped with white rope.
Moving down to the bottom row, we have Maker Spaces by Emily Quinton. This is the perfect home inspiration book as it’s a look inside the homes and spaces of other makers and designers.
Sarah’s next pick is our glass container with an ash wood handle from LSA International. These gorgeous glass containers and vases are hand blown in Poland by skilled glass blowers and artists.
Her next pick is our Uashmama wine bag. These make great hostess gifts and come in a several different colors.
And lastly, Sarah picked our Mango Wood Plates, created from mango trees no longer producing fruit, by UK company Nkuku. These are a gorgeous, natural alternative to the normal everyday dishes.
