Last weekend, I took part in the Junior League of Kansas City’s Holiday Mart at Bartle Hall.  It was a 4-day shopping event with around 20,000 visitors!  It was GREAT to meet so many of people who were excited about Golden & Pine.  I even met a ton of Brooksiders who were super supportive of us being their new neighbor.

After my first pop up at CRAFT, I learned it is really challenging to share product in a 10×10 space!  My very handy husband and I worked on some extra large free-standing pegboards to help me share as much as possible without it looking totally cluttered and crazy.

We had some definite big sellers during the weekend like the amazing Tatine candles, our fair-trade alpaca throws, slate cheeseboards and coasters, Convivial Production planters and our recycled handmade ornaments.  I’m excited to see our plants selling too because I hope to have a store filled with greenery.  Right now I’m considering them a “test” to make sure you guys are into them too!

Thanks to the Junior League for hosting such a big event and for taking good care of their vendors (chair massage for vendors – what?!?)!  I hope to see you at my next pop-up in the West Bottoms Friday November 6th 10-7 pm and Saturday November 7th 10-5 pm.  I’ll be on the 2nd floor of Bottoms Up at 1300 W 13th Street.
