We’re hiring!

We’re looking for a part-time sales associate to work with us during the holiday season beginning asap and ending at the end of December.  The position will include 8-15 hours a week and will primarily be a weekend position, although weekday availability is a plus!

Daily duties for the part-time sale associate include:

  • Opening and closing of the shop
  • Offering excellent customer service throughout the day, including greeting customers, offering product knowledge, assisting customers in decision making, ringing them up at the register, and ensuring all purchases leave with a Golden & Pine touch
  • Staying abreast of product knowledge and “stories” for all products
  • Receiving inventory including unpacking boxes and tagging merchandise
  • Plant care
  • Light cleaning including dusting, dust mopping and mopping of floors, emptying trash and recycling
  • Answering phones and general email inquiries
  • Restocking
  • Maintaining an organized shop and backroom
  • Maintaining a positive working relationship with co-workers and store owner
  • Assisting in retail store displays

Additional Skills Needed

-Good work ethic and self motivated with a consistently positive attitude

-Energetic, lively and engaging

-Keen on taking direction, following store procedures, and able to work independently

-Ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks, remain focused and work well and quickly under pressure

-Be willing and able to do all parts of the job from sweeping or recycling cardboard to doing displays and customer-centered retail sales, while standing all day

-The job is physically active requiring lifting, climbing, bending, and standing for up to 8 hours a day
