Shanley’s favorite finds pictured above are:

1: Matte Gold Flatware made in Portugal by Canvas Home, a company that strives to work with sustainably sourced materials and supports artisan groups committed to fair-trade practices

2: Forager’s Cocktails by Amy Zavatto has delectable drinks made from foraged and grown ingredients.  Healthy in a cocktail?  Yes, please!

3: Color Block Napkins from Minna, a New York based home textile brand.  These are made in a small village just outside Oaxaca City, Mexico by Alfredo, who weaves the cotton napkins by hand while his wife sews the finishes.

4: Candles from Shine Candle Co. are locally made in Kansas City by Hannah Dufriend, a mom of four who  manages to squeeze in a successful candle business in between raising her kiddos.

5: The Forest Feast by Erin Gleeson, a popular blogger who made her dream a reality when she left New York City and moved into a tiny cabin in a California forest in order to be closer to nature.

6: Hanging Ceramic Planters from Convivial Productions, a local KC company founded by maker Chentell Stiritz, a Hawaii native who has built her ceramics business in Kansas City.

7: Slate Cheese Board from Brooklyn Slate, who sources the slate from an upstate New York family quarry and cuts and cleans it in their Red Hook Brooklyn studio + The Gold Cheese Knife Set from Be Home, a Berkley based company offering handmade, ecologically friendly & responsibly produced products with a simple and natural aesthetic
